Cup of Rosie is a family run business, coming together over a love of good food, amazing tea and coffee and elegant afternoon teas.
Louise has always wanted to go into catering after her big brother, who was a chef but eventually decided to study business and finance.
After a long career in Finance and her last post as a Finance Director at a large organisation for over 5 years, Louise realised that her passion was baking and the real dream was to run an afternoon tea business and eventually open a tea shop.
Only making cakes for friends and family, Louise found that she wanted to learn more and attended several course to add to her self taught skills, therefore offering more. In early 2016, Louise decided make the leap of faith and make cakes for others and her customer base has grown over the years.
The business has also grown with the addition of the "Barista Bean"! A beautiful converted horse box. In late 2017 while the horse box was being converted, Louise attended a City and Guilds 3 day course to qualify as a Barista and passed with flying colours. To add to her skill set, in early 2018, Louise obtained her Personal License allowing her to sell alcohol (Prosecco Afternoon tea anyone?!)
In 2019m The Cake Studio was launched and provides a great space for classes and baking large quantities of cakes.
2019 also saw the launch of "Tilly's Tavern" - another stunning horsebox converted to look similar to the Barista Bean but internally it will look very dfifferent. Gorgeous oak and copper finishes, the Tavern will offer draught ale and beer, a delicious selection of gins, prosecco and much much more!
